The Map Of Palestine 

This artwork is an abstract representation of today's map of Palestine. the artwork is meant to represent the slow process of reduced belonging/identity/groundedness/home/stability/,,,,,,, 

So much interpretation I see when I look at this body of work. The placement of the thorns as the center of map. The disappearance of imagery throughout the map. All I can see and feel is Home when I look at this body of work. 

The center = Jerusalem/the West Bank/The center of chaos 

The absence of imagery and color = The long road drives I have to take to get from one place to another.
